A. Enjoying League and Behavioral Expectations
1. It is important that everyone who plays in a dart league enjoys their
experience.
6. Player Etiquette & Good Sportsmanship is important in league. Poor
sportsmanship and unethical conduct will not be tolerated.
a) Do not argue or be disrespectful to your opponents in person or via
phone/messages, nor should you use social media to attack another player or
to inflame a situation further. Do not comment on an opponent’s strategy,
accusations of sandbagging, or disparage their ability. Misguided
competitiveness or drinking is not an excuse for poor behavior. Be mindful
of how your behavior reflects on your sponsor bar.
c) Midstate reserves the right to address misconduct, once reported,
stemming from any league or tournament event. Bad behavior will result in
disciplinary action up to permanent expulsion from any and all leagues and
any and all tournaments at our discretion. Such misconduct can include but
is not limited to abuse of equipment, attempts to manipulate standings,
harassment or abusive language or gestures directed at other players/bar
employees/ Midstate staff, and physical violence towards
people/property/equipment during league. The degree of the penalty assessed
is at our discretion.

Listen. This is an adult 21+ player dart league. I'm not policing your
general behavior nor do I want to. Ain't nobody got time for that,
especially this time of year in my office. It's not my job to micro-manage
individual's speech or actions; you're all grown and agreed to play by the
league rules. My job is to run the computer system to manage the data and
share the stats, not manage feelings. However, that also doesn't mean you
get to treat each other poorly. If you don't know what I'm talking about,
then hey congrats there wasn't any drama during your match. Thanks for
that! Unfortunately, that was not the case everywhere on Sunday. And
watching this footage and hearing from nearby players from Sunday, there
was enough poor sportsmanship to go around from several players. I'm just
so disappointed. Don't bring your outside issues to league. You don't have
to like or respect each other, but you all do need to treat others with
civility. If you can't be near another player or team, get yourself a sub.
Keep your hands to yourself. **If you can't say anything nice, don't say
anything at all.** Next time I need to waste hours of my day watching
footage to see who said or did what to whom, those involved will all need
to get a sub for themselves for rest of the year. I'm so tired, guys. Just
please, stop.
